Description and Table of Contents
Description
This biennial series of Symposia is the principal forum for the presentation of recent advances in the field of Low Density Gas Dynamics. The Symposia are interdisciplinary, attracting physicists, mathematicians, engineers, and chemists from all around the world. The areas of kinetic theory, transport processes, and non-equilibrium phenomena and gases are covered. This book is intended for research workers in rarefied gas dynamics in academia and industry. These include experimentalists and computer simulators.
Table of Contents
A. Kinetic theory and transport theory. B. Numerical methods including Direct Simulation Monte-Carlo. C. Gas-surface phenomena. D. Gas beams. E. Clusters, aerosols and RGD aspects of condensation and evaporation. F. External flows including space vehicles and vacuum technology. G. Jets and Plumes. H. Internal flows. I. Collision dynamics. J.
