This book is part of the "Everyman" series, which has been totally re-set with wide margins and easy-to-read type. The front of the book includes a themed introduction, marginal glosses and footnotes and a detailed commentary. This anthology includes six Middle English romances: "King Horn", "Floris and Blauncheflur", "Amis and Amiloun", "Sir Triamour", "Sir Launfal" and "The Earl of Tolous". Tender love and youthful innocence overcoming all obstacles, twin brothers, wooing princesses, faithful servitors, false accusers trusted by husbands and betrayed and exiled wives are all to be found in these stories.
