内容説明
Until recently, victims of brain damage were seen as largely beyond remedial help. Changing attitudes are due to dramatic advances in the field of neuroscience, but they also result from the distinction which is now drawn between recovery and outcome. Measuring the aftermath of damage to the brain in terms of outcome - the extent to which a victim is able to resume a normal lifestyle - this volume highlights the potential contribution to the problem that can be made by different professions and disciplines.
