Description
This reference on graphic cs file formats uses the Mosaic browser to enable the reader to navigate the text's contents on the accompanying CD-ROM. Original file format specification documents are included from such vendors as Adobe, Apple, IBM, Microsoft, and Silicon Graphics, along with test images and code examples for many of the formats. The CD-ROM also contains a set of publicly available software and shareware - for MS-DOS, Windows, OS/2, UNIX, and the Macintosh - that allow the user to convert, view, compress, and manipulate files and images.
