Description

This book attempts to present a practical clinical account of the hair and its disorders. It is hoped that it will be of value not only to the dermatologist, but also to other physicians who wish to understand the significance of changes in their patients hair. The comparative physiology of hair growth is described because it throws light on clinical situations in man. Diseases of the hair and scalp are included as they are so often associated with some disturbance of hair growth.
