内容説明
This volume includes papers presented at a two-day conference in New York in 1997 on optical biopsy and optical mammography. Topics covered include near-infrared imaging methods such as time-resolved and nonlinear optical imaging, frequency-domain imaging, optical coherence tomography and biopsy, multiphoton excitation confocal microscopy, flourescence lifetime imaging and spectroscopy, spectral diagnosis, and applications of light-based techniques to investigate cancers. Presentations also address physiological markers, such as increased vascularity and changes in blood oxygenation, that may indicate the onset of cancer, in addition to the importance of understanding physiological and pathological factors that may influence optical diagnosis.
目次
Part 1: optical imaging in tissue. Part 2: optical tomography. Part 3: fluorescence and spectroscopy. Part 4: pathology and correlation studies. Part 5: panel discussion and closing remarks.
