Description

This is an applied introduction to statistics for students with no background in the subject. The author places emphasis on choosing sound design structures, then discusses ANOVA before going on to explore real data sets using a variety of graphs and numerical methods. Throughout, the author emphasizes the contextual understanding and interpretation of data analysis, rather than stressing formal deductive, mathematical reasoning. The more difficult algebraic discussions are contained in optional sections.
