Description

This full-color atlas is a complete pictorial guide to normal and pathologic appearances of the gastrointestinal tract as seen with today's high-resolution video-endoscopes. The book contains 273 full-color endoscopic photographs--taken with state-of-the-art high-resolution electronic endoscopes--that vividly depict the full range of neoplasms and non-neoplastic lesions of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, colon, and rectum. Succinct captions underneath the photographs identify the distinguishing features of each entity. Where appropriate, the book shows how staining and dye-scattering methods can aid in visualizing abnormalities
