内容説明
As America recognizes worsening children's social conditions, it is plagued by escalating costs and troublesome systemic inequities and inefficiencies. Many solutions to these problems are being offered, with most advocating "break-the-mold" strategies. Undergirding each is a revitalized commitment to inventive ways of people and organizations uniting to form partnerships, to integrate services, to co-ordinate and to collaborate. This volume is about that process - its potentials and polemics. At one level it is a story about early care and education specifically; at another, it is about American human service delivery generally. Likewise, it is about both the science of collaboration generally and the artistry of a nation's standing united for children and families.
