Description and Table of Contents
Description
This volume provides the first comprehensive overview of a novel field of neuropharmacology. Neurotrophic factors are currently in clinical trials and there is a broad research effort which aims at alternative administration strategies and at replacing them with small molecule mimetics. The field represents a unique and novel approach to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
