Description
This text, a product of an NSF funded consortium, was developed as part of the calculus reform movement. Concepts are presented graphically, numerically, and algebraically to give readers the benefit of several interpretations. The text is problem driven and features exercises based on real-world applications. Technology is used as a tool to help readers visualize the concepts. The book contains main ideas of calculus and includes real-world problems which are open-ended where there may be more than one approach and more than one solution.
