Description and Table of Contents
Description
This annual yearbook series will focus on a different theme each year. It has been specially commissioned to meet the demands for an up-to-date and authoritative overview of all the key issues in the field of simulation, gaming and role play, by the increasing numbers of trainers, teachers and lecturers now using interactive learning methods. This book comprises thematically grouped papers offering practical ideas and advice and summarizing the latest trends, new theories and examples of best practice. The theme of the first yearbook volume is how games, simulations and role plays can be used in educational and training contexts to develop skills which the learner can later use in other contexts.
