Description
Dr. Provost and his colleagues at Hopkins correlate dermatology and internal medicine by describing the dermatologic manifestations of systemic disease, from rheumatoid arthritis to Raynauds disease to pericarditis. Each chapter is coauthored by a dermatologist and an internist. The topics covered include the cutaneous manifestations of connective tissue diseases; nonimmunologic arthritides; immune and complement deficiencies; malignancies; hematologic disorders; endocrine diseases; gastrointestinal diseases; metabolic diseases; neurologic diseases; infectious diseases; and AIDS.
