Wehaveincluded inthisvolumerevisedandextendedversionsofelevenofthepaperspresented attheworkshop. Thevolumeisorganizedintotwomainparts. The?rstisdedicatedtoimportant theoreticalissuesoflearningclassi?ersystemsresearchincludingthein?uence ofexplorationstrategy,amodelofself-adaptiveclassi?ersystems,andtheuse ofclassi?ersystemsforsocialsimulation.
