Description and Table of Contents

Description

The volume contains the proceedings of an international conference in honor of Jean Esterle, held from June 1-4, 2015, in Bordeaux. Most of the papers present original work in harmonic analysis, function theory, operator theory, and their applications; others review known results and put them in a new perspective. Among the subjects covered are: operators on spaces of holomorphic functions; Hankel and Toeplitz operators; Carleson measures for various spaces; spectral problems for differential operators; geometry of Banach spaces; linear dynamics; interpolation of functions; idempotents in Banach algebras; and magnetic distributions on thin plates.
