Description and Table of Contents

Description

The proceedings of the 6th Computers in Higher Education Conference held in April 1986 at the University of Lancaster are presented in this volume. The conferences are intended to bring together educators from the universities, polytechnics, colleges and schools (at sixth form level) who are developing techniques for Computer-Assisted Education (CAE). The emphasis in the 1986 conference is on developments in CAE across a wide range of disciplines, and the papers therefore concentrate on a system-based as opposed to a subject based approach to CAE.
