内容説明
This is a practical introduction to low level laser therapy intended for the growing number of clinicians who use the technique. Until recently most lasers in medicine and surgery were very high-powered and used for coagulating, vaporizing and incising tissue, their high cost restricting their use to a limited number of institutions. The past five years, however, have seen the emergence of less expensive, very low-powered lasers which have a wide range of clinical applications, including pain attenuation, wound healing, improving the take of flaps and grafts and laser acupuncture. In order to be of value to a wide range of clinical specialists, this books is jargon-free, informative and relatively informal in style. It is edited by a world famous laser dermatologist who has successfully treated some 10 000 patients in 10 years.
