内容説明
These volumes contain the Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Langmuir-Blodgett Films, Tsukuba, Japan, April 24-29, 1989. Since the 1st International Conference on Langmuir-Blodgett Films in 1982, understanding of these ultrathin films has progressed remarkably as a great variety of new and powerful characterization techniques has been developed. The study of organized molecular assemblies at interfaces is now one of the most attractive areas of scientific research in a multidisciplinary field covering chemistry, physics, biology and electronics. The papers in these volumes are divided into sections on characterization, surface rheology and monolayer transfer, chemical, optical and electrical properties, self assembly systems, and applications.
