Description
与謝野鉄幹に見いだされた山川登美子（１８７９‐１９０９）は、鉄幹に寄せる思慕の強さや鳳晶子（与謝野晶子）との交流が作歌の意欲に結びつき、創刊直後の「明星」詩上で活躍した。２９歳の若さで早世しながらも、喪ったものへの哀惜を主題となし得た点で抜きんでた女流であった彼女の全作品から、生前未発表の歌をふくめて８５９首を収録した。
